Egyptian singer Shireen Abd Al Wahab revealed during her visit to the United Arab Emirates to participate in the first 2008 Dubai night celebration that she doesn’t like worrying herself about too much problems and avoids creating them for her peace of mind.
She stated that she no longer pays attention to the articles that are written about her personal and professional problems. Shireen noted that in the past she would immediately comment about anything that was written about her and would not leave the matter to her business manager, as is the case with most singers. She also adds that she doesn’t like to create problems, but she was highly and easily tempered before she got married. Shireen says that she is much calmer now even after she got pregnant she is more relaxed now.
According to the London daily Elaph, Shireen also denied any rumors about not meeting the conditions of a contract with Egyptian singer Muhammad Fouad to star with him in a new cinema project. Shireen says that it was only a talk and there was no contract in the first place to start with. She also adds that the role was not right for her at this stage in her musical career. She stated that the role suits Egyptian actress Yasmin Abed Al Aziz more than her.
Shireen has changed her production company to Rotana, and believes that it’s a good and courageous step in her life and will be good for her musical journey. She appreciates that Rotana allowed her postpone the releasing of her first album due to her pregnancy. She also said that the company made a huge celebration for her after the signing of the contract, and denied any problems between her and the owner of her previous production company Naser Mahroos.
Shireen was surprised to be asked if she has medical insurance on her and her unborn baby. She says that she is living well and has made sure that all her unborn child’s needs are taken care of. Shireen stated that she will give the master copy of her first album to Rotana before she gives birth to her baby, because she wants to make herself free for her baby when she is born.
