Egyptian singer Shireen Abdul Wahab has denied rumors that her recent concert in Jordan was cut short due to her inappropriate dress.
The singer stressed that the real reason she refused to continue her performance, singing for only 40 minutes instead of one hour, was due to the fact that the stage was too close to the seating.
As a result, when she began singing her hit song “Ah Ya Lail,” the audience began singing along and an intoxicated male audience member climbed on stage and began dancing with her in a manner that disturbed her.
Shireen explained that her fear from the drunken man was the real cause behind her leaving the stage and ending the concert.
The singer received 25 thousand US dollars for her short performance.
