Lebanese stars have rushed to the side of Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi to pay their condolences for the loss of her mother earlier last week. At the funeral, Amal appeared to be in a very distressed state of mind and very sadden over her loss.
Among the stars that had attended the funeral were Lebanese singers Haifa Wahbi and Elissa, who both came wearing black cloths and provided comfort to Amal. In addition singer Milhim Zein also made it a point to attend to pay his condolences in person, especially since he and Amal share a very good friendship.
Other figures from the entertainment world who attended were journalist Jumana Bu Eid, Rabi’ah Al Zayat, Rula Saed, Siham Al Sha’shae’, Joe Raed, Saleem Assaf and others.
The year 2011 was a bad one for Amal as she suffered two losses, the first being her unborn child and the second her mother.
