OMG. Ever in want of dishy deets to spread about our region's celebrities, one satellite TV channel posted a false report that our leading lady Wafa Amer had died, leaving viewers' jaws dropped and tears flooding.
Once the news got out, Wafa began receiving phone call after phone call from concerned family and friends to ensure the starlet was safe and sound as they hoped.
According to Sayidaty.net, Wafa was outraged with the rumor and stressed that she is in perfect health, saying, "Thank God I am doing great, but my mother was subjected to a nervous breakdown as a result of the false news."
She added, "I call on all forms of media to please please validate your news and be careful of what you write, especially when it deals with people's lives."
