Apparently, Australian superstar Kylie Minogue is just not that hot in Turkey!
The "I Should Be So Lucky" singer has not been so lucky after having had to cancel her upcoming concert in the Turkish capital due to disappointing ticket sales, The Daily Telegraph reported.
The open-air concert was scheduled for June 16 as part of Kylie's Kiss Me Once world tour, but not enough tickets were sold to fill the large venue booked for the event.
Concert organiser Ozgur Ipekci said, "Her team demanded to change the concert date, but the ticket sales were below expectations and we decided to cancel it. A world star like her did not receive interest in Istanbul."
Kylie apologised to her Turkish fans on Facebook saying, "I’m so sorry I won’t be seeing you in Istanbul next month. I was really looking forward to performing for my Turkish fans. I hope to see you all soon. Love Kylie x."
This is the sixth gig to be cancelled from the Aussie starlet's Kiss Me Once tour. In October, a date in Austria was cancelled as a result of scheduling conflicts while four more were axed in Germany over financial problems with the tour promoter.
Kylie's next scheduled concert is in Suffolk, UK, on June 19.
