ALBAWABA - Fans and lovers of Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny have been worried about him after his sudden Instagram post where he was seen lying on a hospital bed, while shocking people of undergoing a serious surgery.
In the post, Tamer Hosny, who has over 41 million followers on Instagram, explained that doctors had to remove part of his kidney after his health deteriorated suddenly during his visit to Germany.
Tamer wrote, "I did not intend to talk about my personal matters; on the contrary, I was trying to appear normal, but since the news was circulated. I have been suffering for a period of time, and I have a kidney health crisis, and for days, I needed immediate surgical intervention and I was partially removed from the kidney, and thank God anyway." He added, "Thank you to everyone who is trying to check on me, thank you to everyone who prayed for me and pray for me."

Many Arab celebrities sympathised with the Egyptian star and wished him a speedy and recovery, including his ex-wife Basma Boussel, actress Mai Ezz Eldin, star Ahmed El-Sakka, Mohamed Ramadan, Karim Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Zaher, and his daughter Malak Zaher.

In an exclusive statement to Al-Ain News, Basma confirmed that her ex-husband, artist Tamer Hosny, is recovering well after undergoing delicate surgery.
She explained that she had hoped to be with him during his treatment, but visa procedures prevented her from traveling despite her continuous efforts to obtain it in time. She stressed that their daughter, Talia, stayed with Tamer Hosny during his stay at the hospital until his health improved.
