From LA to Tokyo to Morocco!

Australian singer Iggy Azalea (real name Amethyst Amelia Kelly) is the latest international performer to be confirmed for the Mawazine Festival in Morocco.

Iggy dropped out of high school as a teenager and took her dreams of stardom to the United States, where she made her way to Los Angeles. Releasing mixtapes and signing a record deal with the independent Grand Hustle Records label in 2012 led her to a series of television performances on MTV, the BET Hip Hop Awards, VH1 Divas, and a mini-tour with Rita Ora.

By 2013 she was opening for Beyonce's Mrs. Carter Show World tour in Australia and performing at the MTV Music Awards.

In 2014, Iggy Azalea released her debut album The New Classic, containing her breakout hit 'Fancy', 'Work' and 'Black Widow'. 'Fancy' rose to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for seven weeks, a record for a female rap artist.

Iggy Azalea has since collaborated with Ariana Grande on the hit 'Problem', with Britney Spears on 'Pretty Girls' and appeared on Jennifer Lopez's single 'Booty'.

Iggy Azalea will be performing at OLM Souissi as part of Mawazine's Festival Rhythms of the World on May 21.
