YouTube apologizes to Nancy Ajram amid losing 600 million views

ALBAWABA - Google's YouTube was "Forced" to apologize to Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram after she lost more than 600 million views on the platform, according to Erem News. 

The issue in question came after Nancy Ajram published her newest song "Your Only Problem" or "Meshkeltak Alwahidi" on YouTube which has already garnered more than two million views by the time of writing this article.

Upon hearing about the news, YouTube issued an official statement and announced that it was caused by a technical error. Moreover, It added that the team is working to fix it by bringing the 600 million views back as soon as possible. 

According to information found by Erem News, popular Western artists including Rihanna, Beyoncé, and The Weeknd also faced a similar issue on YouTube causing massive anger among fans across social media. Additionally, they expressed their concern over the matter by claiming that it's "electronic theft" for a thing like this to happen.

Nancy Ajram accumulated more than 3.5 billion views after publishing more than 300 videos on her official channel making her the top content creator on the platform in Lebanon and has garnered more than 70 million subscribers.
