HP Saudi Arabia announces HP Instant On Conference – its biggest event in Kingdom

HP Saudi Arabia is hosting its biggest technology event in the Kingdom, HP Instant On Conference, on 5 and 6 March 2011 in Riyadh to address the growing IT needs of Saudi enterprises.
According to research conducted on behalf of HP Saudi Arabia, three quarters of business leaders say that their technology department is a fundamental enabler of their business’ success while 84 per cent of business leaders say that innovation is critical to their business success in this new world.
HP Instant On Conference will provide CIOs, IT and data centre managers and solution architects in Saudi Arabia with the very latest solutions and products by HP and its key global partners including Microsoft, SAP and Avaya to name a few.
“Saudi Arabia has the biggest IT market in the Gulf region, one that will be worth USD $4.6billion by 2014. Al Shoura Council has a strategic objective for the IT industry to raise its contribution to the GDP to 20% by 2020. At HP Saudi Arabia, our objective has been to introduce a number of services and innovations to contribute to and aid this development,” said Ziad Mortaja, Country Manager, HP Saudi Arabia.
HP’s main focus at the event will be showcasing Instant On Enterprise, a set of integrated solutions that enable businesses and governments to respond to customers and stakeholders in seconds and “instants,” instead of weeks and days. With Instant On Enterprise, HP is helping organizations reinvent their use of technology to deliver innovation at every point in the value chain within the enterprise. This includes the services that are delivered, the mobile devices that provide the access, and the global data centres required to power the Instant-On Enterprise.
A number of plenary sessions from renowned industry leaders, business and technology breakout sessions, workshops, demo theatres and an Enterprise Innovations Exhibition are scheduled for attendees on March 6.
