Injaz honors its volunteers

INJAZ held its annual Volunteers’ Day inviting its dedicated volunteers who generously volunteered their time and effort with INJAZ during the academic year of 2010-2011. The event took place at King Hussein bin Talal Convention Center at the Dead Sea and was attended by over 1,100 volunteers coming from all areas of the kingdom.
The event was moderated by Ms. Hana’ Al-A’raj, who commenced the evening by thanking the volunteers for their support and was followed by INJAZ CEO, Ms. Deema Bibi, who in turn, welcomed the guests and thanked them for their valuable contribution in inspiring and preparing the youth. Ms. Bibi said: “INJAZ volunteers' network is a network of special people who pooled their energy, experience and skills to fulfill a great goal.
Now a days, more than 250 Jordanian companies supports INJAZ in the process of benefiting youth in all Jordan's governorates, in the other hand 56 leading Jordanian companies in INJAZ board gives INJAZ the guidance and the advice".
"INJAZ efforts in promoting volunteerism culture in Jordan by conducting Volunteering Campaigns; more than 3,300 volunteered with INJAZ in academic year 2010-2011 and more than 14,000 volunteered with INJAZ since INJAZ started ", Bibi Added.
The guests were entertained by an activity run by Challenger Team where they were asked to contribute to a big mural carrying their palm print and words about their volunteering experience. The guests later enjoyed a dinner which was concluded by an exquisite live Rum performance.
