Egyptian comedian actor Ahmad Hilmi was presented with the award for Best Male Actor and Tunisian actress Hind Sabri presented with the award for Best Female actress for the year 2012. The awards were presented to the actors during an awards ceremony held by the Lebanese magazine Der Geest that took place in Cairo.
The magazine also awarded Lebanese singer Elissa and Egyptian singer Tamer Husni with the titles of ‘Best Female and Male Singers’.
Ahmad was presented with two awards one for ‘Best actor’ and a second for ‘Best Comedian Actor’ for his role in the film “X-Large”. In addition, the film itself was considered the number one film in 2012 and a different award was given to the writer of the film Ayman Bahjat for ‘Best Writer’.
Hind won the award for her miraculous role in the film “Asma’. Egyptian actress Dunia Sameer Ghanem was presented with the award for ‘Best Female Comedian Actress’.
