Egyptian actress Ghada Abd Al Razik reprimanded protesters in Egypt who are demanding the resignation of the current Egyptian President Husni Mubarak, describing the protests as a "betrayal to a symbol of Egypt who has served his country loyally for the past 30 years."
During a phone interview with the television news channel ‘Al Arabia’, Ghada said that she is irritated to see crowds of people in the streets chanting slogans against Mubarak.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Ghada said she does not understand what protesters want. When protesters asked for a change in government, the president changed his entire cabinet of ministers, and then protesters demanded that the president resign, she said.
Ghada also warned that what protesters are doing could lead to tragedy, and that the thousands of protesters do not represent the entire population of Egypt, which is over 85 million.
