Prominent Egyptian actress Ghada Abd Al Riziq has decided to increase her wage to three million Egyptian pounds to agree to act in any film. The wage is double what she had agreed to for the role in the film she is currently filming “Boun Swareeh”, which is produced by the production company ‘Al Sabki’.
Ghada made her decision after she was shocked by the number of producers and directors that were eager to sign contracts with her to have her star in different works. Ghada’s fame leaped after her recent works especially the television drama “Zohra wa Azwajha al Khams” (Zohra and her five husbands), which she starred in this past Ramadan season.
With regards to television commercials, Ghada has also increased her wage to one million US dollar to star in any commercial, which is the wage she currently agreed on with an international company to promote one of their products in the Middle East.
Ghada recently announced that she has signed a contract to star in a new television drama titled “Samarah”, which she will begin filming in the upcoming period to have it ready to be aired by Ramadan of 2011.
