A Cairo police station has called prominent Egyptian actress Ghada Abd Al Riziq in for questioning. A lawsuit has been filed against the actress by the production company ‘Oscar Media Production’ accusing her of breaking the clauses of the contract she has signed with them to star in the television drama “Al Mathbah” (The butchery).
The company stated that it was shocked when it discovered that Ghada had signed another contract with a different company to star in another television drama, despite the fact that she had already been paid a large sum of money as a down payment.
On her part, Ghada stated that she does not know the nature of the lawsuit or why it was filed, and that she will be sending her lawyers to look into the matter. She added that she has already started filming the scenes for the new television “Samarah”, which she expects will witness tremendous success.
