Preparations have begun for the launch of the Tenth Doha Music Festival. At the last minute, Moroccan singer Muna Amarsha has backed out of her scheduled participation, which was to take place on the second day of the festival. Upon receiving the news, the organizing committee immediately began searching for a replacement and after finding once announced that Saudi singer Mohammad Al Zu’aily will be performing instead of Muna.
According to the London based Elaph, this year’s festival is titled ‘Aa Hawa Lebanon’ (The spirit of Lebanon) and will focus on presenting Lebanese singers. Lebanese singers Wael Kfoury and Elissa will be holding grand performances that will be the highlight of the festival.
