Nawras, Oman’s customer friendly communications provider, is announcing further convenience for customers with extended hours of operation for all its self-service machines located within Lulu Hypermarket premises. Customers can now easily pay bills, recharge and send credit in real time to other Nawras customers from 8:00am until midnight.

With three extra hours each day customers can use this quick and easy method of payment in nine different locations from Salalah to Suwaiq. On screen instructions in English or Arabic are easy to follow and a receipt is given for each transaction which takes place in real time.

Nawras offers more than 50 self-service machines in high traffic areas across the Sultanate. These include 24-hour self-service machines located at Salalah International Airport and Muscat International Airport as well as in the Batinah region at Suwaiq and outside the capital’s busy Nawras Store in Ruwi High Street.

From Said Al-Shamsi Trading at Al Buraimi to Al Edbaa Bookshop at Ibra and from Golden Door Shop at Ibri to Red Sea at Sohar Souk, the machines are widespread across the country to help customers.

Hussain Al Lawati, Nawras Director of Sales said, “In line with our commitment to live the customer experience, we are making it faster and more convenient to easily pay bills and recharge accounts by increasing the accessibility of our self-service machines. Customers can use the machines at a time that suits them best and with the added benefit of knowing that they are reducing the consumption of plastic in Oman by choosing this environmentally friendly alternative to a recharge card.”

To use the machine for a bill payment, customers simply select Arabic or English language and then enter their own mobile number or any other mobile number that they wish to pay for. After the balance due is shown, the customer can choose the amount they wish to pay before inserting banknotes of the same value. Although change is not given, any excess payment is simply credited to the next bill.  Customers receive a paper receipt and an SMS to confirm the payment.

To recharge a Nawras Mousbak mobile number, customers select their preferred language and then enter the number followed by the amount they would like to credit before inserting the relevant cash into the slot on the machineA receipt will be printed and customers will also receive an instant SMS to confirm that recharge has taken place.

In addition to self service machines, other recharge and payment options are offered by Nawras and its banking partners. Bills can be paid through any Bank Muscat ATM or CDM as well as by phone and internet and Nawras Mousbak customers can use the same channels to recharge.

At Oman Arab Bank, Nawras customers can recharge their Nawras Mousbak using ATMs, CDMs, SMS and internet while Nawras Ajel customers can pay their bills at the counter or online.

A member of the Qtel Group, Nawras is constantly looking for pleasingly different ways to enhance customer experience by refining existing offerings as well as introducing new products and services.
