Sama Airlines welcomed the Royal decree for accepting government carrying orders and giving discounts to students and medical passengers. This reflects existing Sama policy and practice, in place for the past 6 months.
Mr. Andrew Cowen, Sama CEO said: “we are pleased to advise that Sama already operates in accordance with the Royal Decree. In fact, we were the first private aviation company in Saudi Arabia announcing and granting discounts up to 50% for student on domestic flights. We see this as part of our social responsibility, which also extends to supporting many charities such as Insan. The Royal guidance comes mainly to execute what was agreed in meetings between GACA and Sama and representatives of other airlines, for the benefit of Saudi Arabia and its citizens.\"
