“Women of Light” to be discussed at Tahar Hadad Club

Tahar Haddad Club will host on Tuesday March 8, the conference “Women of Light” with the cooperation of the Cervantes Institute. In the conference, the Spanish academician Nelly Amri, will talk about mystique doctrines in Tunisian history, the mysticism and women.

 

<i>La Presse</i> reports that during the conference, Pablo Beneito, the renowned professor in the department of Islamic Studies of Seville University, will talk about important female names in Sufism such as Rabiaa El Adaouia, Oum Ezzine Jammalia, who was well- known in Sahel region, and Saida Manoubia, who influenced Sufism in Hegire during 7th, 8th and 9th centuries.
