More than 600 refugees from the war between Ethiopia and Eritrea have arrived in Yemen since the resumption of hostilities, the official SABA news agency reported.
Most of them have been given shelter in schools in the Mokha province on the Red Sea, the agency said, adding "boats carrying refugees continue to arrive on Yemen's coast."
The refugees include 113 Somalians, 380 Eritreans and 110 Ethiopians, all from the Assab region of Eritrea, the agency said.
The UN High Commissioner for Refugees said Friday that 45,000 refugees had crossed over from Eritrea into Sudan, while another 150,000 were scattered along the border - SANAA (AFP)
