Algerian Foreign Minister Abdul-Aziz Belkhadm has praised Iraq’s national stances supporting the Algerians’ struggle against the colonists. Belkhadm told an Iraqi news agency corespondent in Algiers that geographical elements are cancelled between Iraq and Algeria and that was proved by Iraq’s stances in support of the Algerian revolution.
He expressed pleasure over the good results achieved during Iraqi Foreign Minister Naji Sabri’s visit to Algeria. Discussions between Iraq and Algeria were held in an atmosphere of understanding, he expressed.
He affirmed his country’s rejection of aggressive threats against Iraq and called for activating joint national action to ensure success for the next Arab Foreign Ministers meetings and for the decisions made during the Beirut Summit on Arab reconciliation.
Moreover, he urged the international community to lift the embargo off Iraq since Iraq implemented all its obligations. He added that Algeria supported Iraq’s demand in lifting the embargo. (Albawaba.com)
