The teenage daughter of a leading Muslim Brotherhood official in Cairo was killed on Wednesday during a police crackdown on protest camps supporting ousted President Mohamed Morsi, AFP reported.

17 year-old Asmaa Al Beltagui, daughter of wanted Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohammed Al Beltagui, was killed in clashes at the Rabaa Al Adawiya protest camp, according to Brotherhood spokesman Gehad Al Haddad, who spoke to AFP.

A spokesperson for the major pro-Morsi group, the Anti-Coup Alliance, said that the teenager had been shot twice by Egyptian police, once in the chest and once in the back, according to AFP reports.
