Debut of World’s Second Trader Vic’s Mai Tai Lounge in Dubai Marina
Rmal Hospitality takes world-class brand to another level
Rmal Hospitality, one of the UAE’s leading hotel and restaurant specialists, has officially launched its latest venue ‘Trader Vic’s Mai Tai Lounge’ – the second in the world - in the Al Fattan Oasis Beach Towers.
In true Rmal Hospitality style, the new restaurant lounge celebrated its opening with a launch party earlier this week for 300 of Dubai’s elite and foodie crowd.
As the name suggests Trader Vic’s Mai Tai Lounge is an extension of the popular Dubai institution Trader Vic’s, offering its signature Polynesian-fusion food and beverage menu.
Trader Vic’s celebrates 15 years of success in the region, and the new venue is another welcome addition to Rmal Hospitality’s growing brand portfolio.
“Within the last six months we have launched three new restaurants in Dubai that include the hugely popular wagamama, Champion jockey Frankie Dettori’s brand Frankie’s and now the new Trader Vic’s Mai Tai Lounge.
“Our long-term business strategy relies on incorporating exceptional brands into our growing portfolio. We have exceeded even our own expectations through the success of our restaurants and we are on track for expansion throughout the Middle East and North Africa regions,” said Anthony Liddiard, CEO of Rmal Hospitality.
The 500 square metre restaurant can accommodate 200 guests and will offer diners an eclectic Polynesian menu in a relaxed setting.
“The Trader Vic’s Mai Tai lounge concept fits perfectly with the UAE’s fast-paced society. The restaurant area has evolved into more casual standing tables to serve larger groups more quickly and handle higher levels of foot traffic,” added Liddiard.
The new restaurant follows Rmal Hospitality’s latest success story with the opening of the first wagamama venue in Cairo. The Al Fattan Oasis Beach Towers now houses all three restaurants in the company portfolio and serves the growing Dubai Marina district.
