ALBAWABA- Dozens of Israeli soldiers have been reported killed or injured during ongoing clashes in northern Gaza, specifically in Jabalia.
According to the Israeli military, three soldiers from the Givati Brigade's Shaked Battalion were killed, while 12 others sustained injuries in the intense fighting with Hamas fighters.
Israeli Channel 14 confirmed the casualties, reporting that 10 Palestinian fighters launched a coordinated attack using rockets and automatic weapons.
The ambush targeted Israeli forces stationed in the area. Among the fatalities were Sergeant Ido Zano, Sergeant Barak Daniel Halpern, and Sergeant Omri Cohen.
The army disclosed that ten additional soldiers were in critical condition following the battle.
The attack underscores the escalating intensity of the conflict in northern Gaza, where Israeli ground forces face sustained resistance amid their military operations in the region.
