VIP/ Corporate Travel by helicopters – a Growing means of transport for Middle Eastern customers

The Arab World is attracting more and more events with a global span, conferences as well as diplomatic missions, during which helicopters are operated to fly these visiting dignitaries.

With the booming and ongoing development in this region, Middle Eastern customers are confronted with new challenges previously seen in Europe. These include moving VIPs around quickly and safely, improving managerial control and decision-making by providing executives with fast access to far-flung corporate sites, and doing this reliably and cost-effectively.

The UAE has been one of the first to adopt helicopters for these kinds of missions. In particular, the spacious EC155 which was derived from the AS365 Dauphin has been selected for transporting heads of state in elegant, safe and quiet comfort.
