Dubai eGovernment has announced that it is currently taking part in InfoConnect 2008, a leading IT and telecom trade exhibition being held in Kuwait from February 3-9. Dubai eGovernment is leveraging the show’s platform to highlight the scale of its achievements with regard to implementation of electronic services, and is also showcasing some of its main eServices such as AskDubai, mDubai and ePay, to a vast audience comprising of decision makers, IT strategists, telecom managers, web developers, educational administrators and financial institutions, among others.
Dubai eGovernment recently revealed that over 1,700 online services have been launched in different government departments, or a phenomenal 81 per cent digital adoption rate of the more than 2,300 government services in Dubai. Key highlights of 2007 also include an ISO 9001:2000 quality certification and an award for being the 'Best eGovernment Programme in the Middle East' during the Leaders Summit.

The joint venture partnership for Agility Kurdistan is formed by Agility and Kurdistan Capital Investment, along with two other well established regional business figures. The newly-formed entity will be investing in the construction of warehousing facilities in order to provide storage, transportation, freight forwarding, customs clearance and associated services to its customers. It will also be exploring real estate activities.
