EEG discusses increased pollution of water

The 7th General Meeting for 2004 of Emirates Environmental Group (EEG), held yesterday (Tuesday, September 28, 2004) at Hotel Mina A' Salam, Dubai, examined the issue of increased pollution of the water of the Arabian Gulf  

and detailed the measures for effective management and protection of marine life endangered by this pollution. Addressed by Habiba Al Marashi, Chairperson, EEG and Dr. Waleed Hamza, Associate Professor of Aquatic Ecology, and Chairman Biology Department of the Faculty of Science at the UAE University, the meeting highlighted the importance of marine life in the overall ecological balance of the planet earth.
