Egypt and Greece agreed to cooperate against terrorism, and make a turning point at their meeting due next week, in which they will discuss launching a joint terrorist counter effort, reports said.

The Middle East Newsline (MENL) quoted officials as saying that the two countries would also discuss in their upcoming joint meeting to be held in Athens, ways to help the US-led war against terrorism.

Egypt has refused to send troops to Afghanistan while Greece is examining sending peacekeeping forces to Pakistan, said the agency.

Another issue for discussion is the launching of a campaign to hold an international conference on terrorism – Albawaba.com
