Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher has criticized the United States stance towards Iraq. During an interview with the London-based Al-Hayat issued on Monday, Maher said that the game of meddling in internal affairs is very dangerous, adding that those who would like to rehabilitate through spelling chaos and military force are losers.
According to the report, Maher confirmed there was no need to pass a new resolution by the United Nations, elaborating that it is natural that Baghdad's steps should be reciprocated by the UNSC and there are obligations, which both sides ought to implement. The Foreign Minister made it clear that this call for war would hurt all concerned parties in the UN and Security Council or on Capitol Hill. (Albawaba.com)
