To celebrate the inauguration of the new two routes to India, Etihad Airways is offering new promotional fare that starts from KD 70 return. Etihad Airways will operate on a daily basis to Kozhikode (Calicut) from Kuwait via Abu Dhabi, taking off on times that meet the needs of passengers, whether from Kuwait or Abu Dhabi and finally leading to Calicut. The Abu Dhabi based airline will also operate flights to Chennai (Madras) four times per week from Kuwait via Abu Dhabi.

Magdi Labib, Country Manager for Etihad Kuwait, said: “Etihad has made no secret of the fact that it wants to build up its Indian services through Abu Dhabi and Kuwait, and looks forward to expanding its flying programme from Kuwait due to the increasing amount of Indian expatriates that reside in Kuwait.”

The coastal city of Kozhikode will be Etihad’s third destination in Kerala, to add to its highly successful flights to Kochi (Cochin) and state capital, Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum).
