etisalat academy celebrates abu dhabi police policom program graduates
Etisalat Academy and the Abu Dhabi Police celebrated the graduation of two batches from Policom, a specialized training program developed for the police force. During the graduation ceremony, exceptional and distinguished graduates were honored for their performance over the one year program. This was the eighth and ninth batch of students to graduate from the Policom program which was made up of a total of 28 UAE nationals.
Students of the program were prepared and trained on theory and application based on sophisticated systems (TETRA Systems) that Abu Dhabi Police uses in managing its operations centers. The program included extensive training on IT, customer service, principals of English language, and technology developments. Abu Dhabi Police is keen to develop working systems in accordance to the directions of H.H. Major-General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Major Khalfan Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Acting Operations Administration Manager, Abu Dhabi Police, Dr. Doaa Faris, General Manager, Etisalat Academy, Ahmed Bin Ali, Vice President of Corporate Communications, Etisalat, and Abdulla Al Hajji, Project Training Manager, Etisalat Academy.
On this occasion, Khalfan Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi said: “The trainees dedicated tremendous efforts towards learning new areas in their specialized profession. The Academy’s advanced training programs will help the graduates implement the knowledge and skills in the operation centers of the Abu Dhabi Police.” Al Nuaimi also thanked Etisalat Academy for its cooperation and professionalism which contributed to the success of the program and the preparation of the Abu Dhabi Police students.

The tenth and eleventh Policom training programs will commence at the Etisalat Academy in February 2008.
