The Culture House in Fez will host an international conference on “Philosophy and the Future of the World” between March 10 and 12. The event is organized by the Moroccan Ministry of Culture and Friends of Philosophy Association. <i>Emarrakech</i> reports that the conference will be a tribute to the well-known philosophers such as Averroes, Miguel Cervantes, Emmanuel Kant and Jacques Derrida.
Renowned academicians and thinkers from Morocco and all over the world will participate in the conference focusing on three main issues: “philosophy in the age of modernity”, “philosophy and democracy” and “the dialogue of philosophies and tolerance between cultures and religions”. “This conference will bring together thinkers with the objective of enhancing the dialogue in philosophy and tolerance between religions,” said the organizers of the event.
