ALBAWABA -  Impeachment discussions have taken a prominent position in the United States once more as the House of Representatives conducted the initial hearing in an impeachment inquiry launched against President Joe Biden.

Republicans allege concrete evidence of corruption tied to the President, while Democrats argue that there is no substantiated link between Joe Biden and the allegations.

In a renewed political spectacle, the United States saw the House of Representatives convene for the inaugural session of an impeachment inquiry instigated by the Republican majority.

Republican members have accused President Joe Biden of leveraging his office for corrupt activities, specifically through his son, Hunter Biden. Notably, these allegations are not new and have been circulating in political discourse.

On the opposing side, Democrats have vocally maintained that the ongoing investigations into Hunter Biden's affairs do not establish any direct connection to President Joe Biden.

It is underscored that this situation should not be likened to former President Donald Trump, who faced impeachment proceedings twice and is currently entangled in four separate legal cases.
