ALBAWABA - Hamas' armed branch, the Al-Qassam Brigades, has made video footage of its mortar shell strikes on Israeli soldiers in the Shuja'iya area east of Gaza City available. Additionally, they showed off the firing of "Sam 7" rockets toward an Israeli helicopter.

The films, according to Al-Qassam's military media, show "the launch of Sam 7 missiles towards enemy aircraft in collaboration with the Martyr Abdel Qader al-Husseini Brigades in Gaza City" and "the targeting of invading enemy forces in Shuja'iya with mortar shells."

One camera clip shows the actions of the Israeli army being watched, while another, verified by Al-Qassam, shows the exact time Israeli helicopters touched down to remove wounded.

Israeli Forces in Gaza Are Allegedly Ambushed by Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military branch of Hamas, recently said that its fighters had carried out a highly skilled operation against Israeli soldiers in the Shuja'iya district of Gaza City. Their report confirms that Israeli personnel were housed in a fortified facility that was breached by Al-Qassam using a TPG anti-fortification grenade. They then fought at close range, neutralizing the whole unit.

The statement went on to say that Al-Qassam set off an explosive device inside the building during their escape, causing Israeli helicopters to remove wounded people. Meanwhile, Al-Qassam said that on Friday near Shuja'iya, two Israeli Merkava tanks were being targeted with Yassin 105 shells.

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) radio reported 13 Israeli military losses during the last week, while Israeli authorities confirmed a "challenging incident" involving Israeli forces in Gaza.
