Former Iranian president, Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani on Friday condemned "state sponsored terrorism" and human rights violations committed by Israel against innocent Palestinians.

Addressing hundreds of worshipers at the Friday prayer

congregation at Tehran University campus, Tehran interim Friday prayer leader referred to the recent explosions in Taba at the border of Egypt and Israel.

He noted, "Given that Iran has suffered greatest losses from terrorism, Tehran condemns all types of terrorist attempts more than any other country."

He noted that no group or personality has yet claimed responsibility for the explosions in recreational resort city, where the Israelis enjoy themselves.

"It may have even been an incidental explosion, but they (Israelis) have made a lot of hue and cry about it," he added. (albawaba.com)
