The IBO offers three programmes to suit different age groups. The Primary Years Programme is focused on students’ aged 7-11, and the Middle Years Programme concentrates on students between 11-16 years of age. However, the most important stage is the IB Diploma, which students undergo during the final two years of their schooling before joining university.
The two IB curricula for primary and middle school years are broad, inclusive and inquiry based. The IB Diploma Programme requires students to study six contrasting areas of the curriculum over a minimum of two years plus a community service component.
