Intel Corporation today announced that Gordon Graylish has been appointed vice president of the Sales Marketing Group (SMG) and co-manager of EMEA.  Graylish will oversee all sales and marketing for Intel, as well as joining SMG Vice President Christian Morales as co-General Manager of Intel EMEA.
Graylish replaces Brian Harrison, who left EMEA to head up the newly formed Flash Memory Group, overseeing all flash memory operations for Intel.
“I am thrilled and excited to take on this new challenge and look forward to helping EMEA prosper in 2006 and beyond,” said Graylish.
Prior to his current assignment, Graylish was director of Intel's Communications Business Organization for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The organization was responsible for the design, sales and support of communications silicon products and solutions to wireless handset, network infrastructure and embedded computing customers.
Graylish joined Intel in Canada in 1982 as a member of the Software and Sales division where he held a number of sales and management positions. In 1994 he moved to Intel's headquarters in Santa Clara, Calif., where he held a variety of roles in senior management.
In 1998, he became director of IA Marketing for EMEA based in the UK; Graylish was responsible for development and execution of Intel's strategic marketing plans and managed the rollout of Intel's Solution and Service Centers across EMEA.
