ALBAWABA - Two drones penetrated from Lebanon this evening, temporarily disrupting Israeli military airspace. It continued for around an hour until Israeli Army Radio declared the situation over.

The Israeli Army had reportedly been searching for the drones for almost 40 minutes when Army Radio reported that a military source had informed them that the search had failed.

Combat helicopters were used in the hunt, and according to a Shin Bet security agency source, the GPS navigation system in the greater Tel Aviv region was momentarily turned off for security concerns over the drones.

One of the drones was then shot down as the hunt for the second drone went on, according to Israel's Channel 12. Israeli Army Radio said the situation was over about an hour later.

Surprisingly, the radio subsequently said that the remaining drone had not been caught and was missing in the sky above Yokneam, which lies south of Haifa.
