Lebanese movement, Hizbollah, has accused Israel of “continuing to use land inside Lebanon for military purposes, such as Saddana hill, the Bastara farmstead and the Tebbin hill, according to a report by the Daily Star on Saturday.
Hizbollah’s southern commander, Sheikh Nabil Qaouk was quoted by that the occupation troops shoot at anyone attempting to enter the area and they prevent UNIFIL troops from accessing the area.
“This represents a direct occupation, a flagrant violation to Lebanon’s sovereignty and a direct obstruction to the UN’s movement,” Qaouk said.
Qaouk was “surprised at the lack of reaction from the international community over Israel’s territorial violations which will only make the enemy sink deeper in the dark tunnel of its crisis.”
But UNIFIL spokesman Timur Goksel’s opinion was that Qaouk was totally wrong in claiming that the peacekeepers were being prevented by the Israeli army from operating along the Blue Line, said the paper.
There have been no restrictions from anyone or attempted restrictions, the spokesman said – Albawaba.com
