ALBAWABA- In a press release, the Houthis armed forces spokesperson announced that the Yemeni Armed Forces' naval units successfully repelled an attack by U.S. enemy forces targeting three Yemeni naval boats.

The hostile action resulted in the martyrdom and loss of ten naval personnel.

This incident occurred as the U.S. forces attempted to strike amid Yemen's steadfast commitment to preventing Israeli ships or those heading to the occupied ports of Palestine from passing through the Red Sea.

In a retaliatory move, the Yemeni naval forces executed a military operation, targeting the container ship "Maersk Hangzhou," bound for the occupied ports of Palestine.

The operation follows the ship's refusal to heed warnings from the Yemeni naval forces.

The Yemeni Armed Forces called on the international community to avoid getting entangled in the dangerous path set by the U.S. forces in the region.

In response to this, the Strategic Communications Coordinator at the U.S. National Security Council stated, "We do not seek a conflict with the Houthis in Yemen, and it is best for them to stop attacks."

John Kirby emphasized that the United States has significant security interests in the Middle East and will deploy necessary forces to protect them, acting accordingly. Tensions escalate as the U.S. issues a stern warning to the Houthi rebels.
