ALBAWABA- The Houthi-run Yemeni Armed Forces, represented by the Houthis' military spokesperson, announced the execution of two military operations targeting Israel.

The first operation deployed drones to strike sites in the occupied Jaffa region, while the second operation used a cruise missile to target a power station in Umm al-Rashrash, known as Eilat, located in southern occupied Palestine.

The announcement follows reports from the Israeli army on Monday that a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted before entering Israeli airspace.

The interception triggered sirens in multiple areas and caused temporary disruptions at Ben Gurion Airport, delaying landing and takeoff operations.

According to the Houthi statement, both operations achieved their objectives. The strikes highlight a significant escalation in regional hostilities, with the ongoing conflict expanding beyond Gaza to include new players and distant theaters of action.
