hp middle east launches its first reseller sales academy in jordan
HP Middle East today announced it has launched its first Reseller Sales Academy in Jordan, following a two day intensive training course held at the Dead Sea.
This new move is part of HP becoming the first major IT vendor to offer its partners and reseller sales team members a chance to build their sales skills and focus on selling the real business value of HP’s Enterprise Servers & Storage solutions.
Over 40 Partners and ten HP Partner Business Managers and Business Unit Managers spent several days learning and refreshing the skills and techniques in professional selling. During this time, the group worked through a ‘sales campaign’ condensing a nine month sales cycle into just 48 hours.
Salim Ziade, Solution Partner Organization Manager, HP Middle East commented: “This programme is exclusively designed for HP and aimed at building solution selling skills across our channel. HP plans on holding such events in the future, as we continue to support our Partners in building their resources and help them drive higher revenue, higher margin business and win big opportunities in the marketplace.”
Over the two days, delegates learned key skill sets including sales meeting planning, how to unlock customer needs through careful and incisive questioning, how to position the value of HP IT solutions, qualification and presenting a business case.
