Under the patronage of His Excellency Naser Judeh, the Official Spokesman for the Government, the International Advertising Association- Jordan Chapter (IAA Jordan) is organizing its 3rd annual Advertising and Marketing Communications conference under the theme "Box Basics", where conference delegates will revisit the basics while highlighting creative and strategic excellence.   The conference, which will be held on the 6th and 7th of November at the Grand Hyatt Amman Hotel, will host international speakers, as well as media representatives from leading agencies around the world.

IAA Jordan President, Mustapha Tabba said "IAA Jordan has launched its annual conference to share progress being made in the industry around the world and see how we can develop the local industry by learning from their successes.  The past two conferences, held in 2005 and 2006, focused on thinking "Outside the Box" and breaking creative barriers. This year the Conference aims to remind the industry on the basics to ensure that their clients get the most effective campaign with the impact they desire.”

“When deciding on a theme for the conference, we opt for one that is relevant and will attract attention of the industry as a whole.  This year’s topic “Box Basics” informs, educates, and revisits the basic essentials,” said Ruba Batayneh, Head of the Conference committee.  “As we set free creative ideas and inspirations, we need to stand on a solid platform of basics.”

Topics expected to be covered at the conference include marketing and branding of luxury brands, telecom and real estate, as well as tackle issues of the industry such as copywriting, brand loyalty and budgeting for campaigns.  There will also be a review of award winning ads of the year, which has become a staple of annual conference due to popular demand.

“IAA Jordan shall continue to encourage creativity and foster individuality. Delegates will have an opportunity to hear from world renowned professionals that have been a part of global campaigns and understand their creative thinking process that led to their success.” Mr. Tabba concluded.
