inet dedicated access prices slashed by up to 50% in batelco business benefits programme

Batelco has announced a reduction on inet Dedicated Access tariffs by up to 50 percent as part of its recently launched Business Benefits programme. Reviewing the tariffs of the Inet Dedicated Access services is an ongoing commitment from Batelco to ensure business and educational customers benefit from the most competitive prices in the region.

Batelco Corporate Affairs General Manager Ahmed Al Janahi said that as a result of this tariff reduction, Batelco Inet Dedicated access tariffs are among the most competitive in the GCC.

“With every change in the cost of bandwidth, Batelco ensures to pass on the benefit of a lower cost to its customers by reviewing the tariffs,” he said.

Inet Dedicated Access offers round-the-clock, highly reliable Internet access at speeds of up to 100Mbps. The dedicated connection is enabled through a point-to-point data connection using Local Leased or LAN Connect or state-of-the art MPLS technologies, allowing companies to connect their whole network to the Internet.

Additionally, its many features include a domain name ending with .bh to facilitate an on-line presence, and 8 IP addresses providing the ability to host services such as mail, web hosting, proxy servers, and firewalls.

“The service is very reliable. Batelco has diversified international uplinks and provides 24/7 dedicated helpdesk support to Inet Dedicated Access customers. The reductions give customers greater value for their money,” said Mr. Al Janahi.

With the newly reduced prices, customers can double their existing bandwidth to the Internet for a minimal or no increment in their current monthly rental.

“Moreover, customers can benefit from further discounts when they sign-up for fixed-term contracts.” Mr. Al Janahi added.
