Info2cell.com partners with Gillette for major UAE mobile SMS contest

Info2cell.com, the leading wireless application service provider in the MENA region, has announced that it has partnered with Gillette for a major promotional text messaging contest for buyers of its deodorant line in the UAE. Customers will get the chance to win either a new Dodge Charger or one of 20 gift certificates from Magrabi Optical.

Shoppers can join the contest by purchasing Gillette deodorants specially marked with contest numbers and then texting the numbers to 050-1568618 via SMS at a cost of AED 0.30 per text. From June 01 to July 01, 2008, Info2Cell will compile the text messages into a database, which will eventually be forwarded to Gillette along with customizable software that will randomly select winning numbers on July 08, 2008.
