An Iranian F-4 jet fighter Monday morning crashed into a river near Minab in the southern province of Hormuzgan in Iran, the Islamic Republic News Agency reported Monday.
According to eyewitnesses, the pilot and co-pilot had managed to bail out before the plane crashed into the Shoravel river.
The sources added that the plane nose-dived into the river and exploded close to a bridge. (Albawaba.com)
