Iraq's ambassador to Russia under Saddam Hussein's regime has left Moscow and in the process handed over a small arms arsenal to the police in the Russian capital, according to Interfax on Saturday.
Upon Abbas Khalaf's request, the Iraqi embassy summoned the police after his departure and his driver handed over five Kalashnikov automatic rifles, three Makarov handguns and three guns of another make along with a large quantity of munition, the news agency added. (Albawaba.com)
