ALBAWABA - Threatening to target Hezbollah sites, the Israeli Army issued evacuation orders addressing the residents of the Lebanese city of Tyre ahead of military operations.
Following these orders, videos circulated on social media of Lebanese Civil Defense personnel calling on residents of Tyre to flee to safety following the Israeli threats to strike the coastal city.
An Israeli attack near a hospital in southern Beirut has killed thirteen people, including a toddler, according to Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health.
The overnight strike at Rafik Hariri University Hospital, Lebanon's largest public health institution, a few kilometers from the city center, injured 57 people, the government said on Tuesday. Rescuers were looking for survivors under the rubble.
Israel had given evacuation warnings soon before launching major attacks on Beirut's southern neighborhoods.
There was no warning, however, for the heavily populated neighborhood surrounding Rafik Hariri Hospital, which has experienced an influx of people evacuated from the south.
