Juniper Networks Named as Middle East’s Networking Vendor of the Year 2008 by Leading Regional Publisher
Annual Network Middle East Innovation Award 2008 Honors Juniper Networks’ Efforts in Expanding Network Infrastructures Across the Region
Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, today announced that it has been named as the Middle East’s Best Networking Vendor of the year at the fourth annual Network Middle East Innovation Awards 2008. In a competitive category Juniper Networks was acknowledged for its contributions to network infrastructures across the Middle East. The honor was presented during a gala dinner and awards ceremony on the 13th May.
The Network Middle East Innovation Awards, organized by Network Middle East (NME) Magazine, the region’s leading information technology infrastructure title, honors the individuals and organizations that are responsible for driving standards and increased adoption of network infrastructures across the region. “The significance of this award speaks for itself – and with an increasing number of new entrants to the Middle East market, competition among vendors was fierce,” said Sathya Ashok, editor, NME Magazine “This was a tight category and the big names of the industry battled it out during the voting. However, during the second round of voting, the winner’s commitment to security and performance, as well as providing a wide range of networking capabilities, tipped the scales in favour of Juniper Networks.”

The NME Innovation Awards follows Juniper’s win as the Networking Vendor of the Year at the inaugural Channel Middle East awards, which recognized the company for its efforts in the Middle East’s IT channel throughout the past year.
