Who is Khalil Haqqani?
Khalil Rahman Haqqani, 58, has been the acting Minister of Refugee and Repatriation in the Taliban government since September 7, 2021.
According to the US Department of Justice, Khalil al-Rahman Haqqani, also known as Khalil Haqqani or Khalil Ahmad Haqqani served as a key leader of the Haqqani Network (HQN), a US-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO).
