Five Lebanese "ISIS sympathizers" were arrested in South Korea after being caught trying to smuggle bomb-making material to their native homeland, Seoul's state-run Yonhap news agency said.
The agency reported late Monday that the five were detained after trying to smuggle ammonium nitrate, which is used to manufacture bombs. It did not specify where they were arrested.
MP Lee Cheol-woo told Korea's MBC radio that the five unnamed suspects are expected to be deported to Lebanon after investigations are conducted.
